This new song for CK3AGOT, "The Laughing Tree", by Apollo & Roselyse is just great. The accompanying artwork by Rottinghead is so good. Depicts Rhaegar and Lyanna. #asoiaf #AGOT #GRRM www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gqoy...

Tech bro CEO's wanting Techno Feudalism, Trump wanting to be King and issuing edicts, Republican Congress eliminating the inheritance tax (and seeding all power to Trump), When are they going to start spouting off about the idea of Hereditary Rule lmao

One of GRRM's minions announced on his Facebook page the release date and artist for the A Feast for Crows Illustrated edition. November 4th and Jeffrey R. McDonald. www.jeffreyrmcdonald.com #asoiaf #affc

@jeffreymcdonaldart.bsky.social The GRRM Facebook page announced that you're the artist for the AFFC Illustrated edition. Can't wait to see how you depict Brienne's journey through the Riverlands! #asoiaf

This is a good thread on plotlines in Winds of Winter. www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/s/s... #asoiaf #WindsOfWinter #GRRM

@westeroscraft.com What will be yalls reaction when Winds comes out and George adds, removes, and modifies locations lol

@westeros.org Any chance you can replace the link on this SSM Entry www.westeros.org/Citadel/SSM/... with this archive url that actually works? web.archive.org/web/20061214... (I just went on a scavenger hunt to find a working link to that interview) #grrm #asoiaf

Conservatives and Repubs. bitterly opposed the NLRB back in 1935, and they do so now. NLRB was the compromise between labor and government/business. I would hope that if the NLRB along with all the other New Deal labor protections get dismantled by Tump, we'd see a return of violent labor disputes

This is fucked

President Trump fired National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo. In an unprecedented move, he also ousted Democratic board member Gwynne Wilcox, leaving the board with no quorum.

I've been listening to the History of Rome podcast. So I can't help but think: the patricians vs the plebeians lol

@askhistorians.bsky.social @lollardfish.bsky.social I didn't actually think I would get selected for the free copy of Oathbreakers from the AskHistorians AMA, but I did! Thanks. Will be sure to read the book when it arrives.

Multi Millionaire Tech Bros and Silicon valley venture capitalists once again not beating allegations that they want to revert all progress made during the progressive era and FDR era

Picked up these two books at a used book store. Eye of the World by Robert Jordan, and Magic of Recluce by L.E. Modesitt. Guess I'll see if I enjoy these series

@quinnthegm.bsky.social The duality of the fandom. www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/s/o...

@mikemcmahan.bsky.social That episode was amazing in so many different ways. It seems like the series finale will be a banger episode. I'm sooo sad that there will be no more stories of the gang after this.

I'm having to argue on r/asoiaf that yes, Arya would much rather be a rich noble girl with her Mother in Riverrun or with her Aunt Lysa in the Eyrie rather than be a peasant in the Riverlands, or a street urchin/assassin apprentice in Braavos. #asoiaf #GoT

Sometimes I hate the ASOIAF/GoT fandom. No, the "broad brushstrokes of how the show concluded" is NOT how the books will end. Like yeah, Bran will be King and *maybe* Dany will be dead in the end. But everything else will be different! You cannot compare the show to the books. #asoiaf #GoT

Jon Snow for the last 13 years. #asoiaf #GoT (shamelessly stolen. Too hilarious not to share)

I have incredible sympathy for this young women. I've read online that bullying in the UK can be pretty bad. But oh my god. The Khaleesis are old enough to post on reddit now. 💀 old.reddit.com/r/TrueOffMyC... #asoiaf #GoT

today.tamu.edu/2024/12/02/a... Laughing at the idea of Cersei reading George's AFFC manuscript drafts. #asoiaf #grrm

Happy Thanksgiving asoiaf and game of thrones folk! Here’s the one and only mention of turkey in the series:

I cooked today with a comment on r/asoiaf > I actually like the theory that Brienne has to look within herself, and decide to follow her own morality rather than rely on Catelyn/Stoneheart's morality. Thus choosing to save Jamie. And I like that it parallels Jaime's decision.

@taniel.bsky.social Gov Cooper has vetoed the bill. webservices.ncleg.gov/ViewBillDocu...

Current Books I'm reading: Just completed The Dragon Waiting by John M. Ford (was very good) In the middle of Tiamat's Wrath by James S.A. Corey Trying to start The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams but have been getting distracted by other books

@westeros.org are able to contact George's team to see if @grrm.bsky.social is fake or real? (I'm betting its fake lol)

There are zero Wild Cards fans in my life Random House #grrm #asoiaf

@abraham.bsky.social OH SHIT - finally getting reeeal good

Colorado and New Mexico got like 20 inches of snow. Here's hoping GRRM is snowed in, writing away at his computer, and taking inspiration from the snows to finish the Northern plot lines. Or maybe he's just sipping hot chocolate by the fire. idk.
