I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

After 1,000 National Park Service employees were abruptly fired on February 14, staff banded together to signal “dire distress” by draping an upside-down American flag from the 3,000-foot summit of Yosemite’s iconic El Capitan monolith.

Oops 😬

as someone who witnessed the “pivot to enterprise blockchain” in 2016 I cannot describe the seething, inchoate rage I feel upon seeing this screenshot. I am blinded by it. if only my eyeballs had been on the blockchain so I could find my sight again

I feel like there's been surprisingly little analysis of what a J. D. Vance presidency would look like given how old Trump is. From the actuarial tables, a 78 year old man has a 23% chance of dying in the next four years.

This academic paper lays out exactly why Trump believes every conspiracy theory he’s ever heard:

All sightings of things in the sky fall into two categories: 1. There is enough evidence to identify it as something mundane. 2. It's at the edge of our ability to detect it, so we're not sure. We've never had a clear sighting we could identify as an alien spacecraft.
