Goals.

I think I'll always have a HUGE soft spot for games that are secretly mysteries full of Weird Puzzle Shit despite giving no such indication of this at first. Void Stranger is among the top. Disc Room reveals itself to be one. I think the first one I fell in love with was Dark Savior on Sega Saturn.

played Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017) also i just realized i can just screenshot my reviews from other places and paste them here instead of having to write something shorter lol

watched Dune (1984) its just alright? i found the story very simple and easy to follow, which i'd almost consider a negative. i was expecting to be confused. the whole thing looks really cool and it's a pretty good time tho, i wouldn't call it a bad movie but its not a particularly good one either.

watched ERASERHEAD RIP David Lynch, one of my favorite people on earth. I cried your death and I will celebrate your life. your work feels like im gazing into the depths of a mans mind and soul, the sign of an artist who puts all their passion and effort on their art, who truly loves their craft.

once again thinking about this passage from David Lynch's book Catching the Big Fish

You’ll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

Remember the game Kiss: Psycho Circus? That FPS featuring the Kiss band running on the Lithtech Engine I've made a repack of the full game with fixes to run it on modern PCs, just install and it's ready to play, no extra tinkering required: mega.nz/file/KaZnnQJ...

just watched gundam 0080: War in the Pocket fuck, man... war kinda sucks. i wish weapons and vehicles of war weren't so cool. was bawling my eyes out for the entirety of the last episode. happy christmas and happy new year everyone!!!

ralsei is showing bonnie how he bakes cakes :) #ralsei #deltarune #art

i watched The Batman (2022) it's pretty good! looks pretty, has ok fight scenes, i like how goth batman looks. it has a good balance of being serious and brooding but also clearly self aware of how inherently silly it is but how that is also what makes it kinda cool.

i watched Gundam Char’s Counterattack a story about a man who loves another man so much he's going to drop an asteroid on earth to cause a global nuclear winter. i feel like i'm still not prepared for this movie. i'll probably come back to it in some years and have something deeper to say about it.

"Ride on Shooting Star"

Enough time has passed. We can admit Airships are the coolest Mario theme.

i liked it better than the first. some cool level concepts and it all feels so purposefully designed and placed. pretty crazy that nintendo was doing some slight kaizo stuff one year after the first mario. also its a hilarious game. some bs too but i was ready for that.

ust beat super mario bros for the nes for the first time in my life :3 ive decided to play the main mario games from smb to mario world cus ive never finished any of them. lost levels is next >:3 good game btw it was fine. like a 3.5/5 i guess

took some photos of my cool turtle friend and also some flowers from my backyard i guess

watched Heathers (1989, Michael Lehmann) the wardrobe for this movie is amazing, the lighting is too, the acting is too. its not as "dark" as i expected it to be but thats not a negative. is it just me or is JD kind of like an evil columbo in the way he talks and acts? overall this movie is very.

watched Casting Blossoms to the Sky (2012, Nobuhiko Obayashi) Never before have I seen a film so moving. It's hard to find the words to talk about it, but this is most definitely one of the most beautiful and important pieces of art ever created.

watched House (Hausu) (1977, Nobuhiko Obayashi) still one of the best films ever made. my love and appreciation for it grows as i learn more about filmmaking

watched Speed Racer (2008, Wachowski Sisters) i cried a hyper maximalist ode to racing and to filmmaking and to sport as art; so full of heart, creativity and joy, unique and bold in every way, masterfully edited with the pace of a high speed race brimming with emotion. AND very anti-capitalist <3

thank you for coming by!!!! stream requests :D i had fun!! i'll stream again this saturday, for a much longer period :3

my brain whenever i listen to Live & Learn now

watched Look Back (2024, Kiyotaka Oshiyama) was on the verge of tears the whole time.

I'm finally here on Bluesky.

Some of my best photos from the past year or so.

watched The H8ful 8 (2015, Q8tin Tarantino) gr8 movie
