I'm going to be thinking all day about how @jmstar.bsky.social's gm-less card games (Fiasco, Desperation, Zhenya's Wonder Tales) don't fit into this framework. Is that why I love them so much? Player options are limited, so low cognitive load means creativity is easier (for me).

Once again, I have forgotten to back up my work computer customizations before allowing IT to update my OS. Every time this happens, I vow to back up my stuff and save myself the hassle of having to rebuild them all. But then a year passes. Or two. I become complacent.
