My Friday tip for #writingcommunity Coffee. Just coffee…

Brrrr here in Devon…

Don't know about you, but this place feels like a breath of fresh air. Speaking of which - I'm delighted to reveal the cover of book 2 in the Chef Paul Delamare series, #MurderBelowDeck. For preorder details - and a sample chapter - pop over to www.orlandomurrin.com. @transworldbooks.bsky.social

Today’s tip for #writingcommunity. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s not about one book. Or even one publisher. When my first publisher rejected my third novel, I changed genre (and publisher). Had a breakout book! You will need to believe in yourself. And dig deep… #booksky #books

Updated version of the author starter pack. It is now one of those giant multipacks, with more flavours and varieties than you ever dreamed could exist in one place. #books #booksky #starterpack

No idea yet quite how it works here. Meantime have had piano tuned and taken up pottery which can only mean one thing. Yup. Diversion tactics =book deadline… Here’s first (very basic) slab project. Geranium printing. On the wheel next, gulp!

Hello book lovers. I’m told it’s lovely here. My news today? Trying to sort the timeline on new MS ahead of submission to my editor. Alas, there is a lot of unintended time travel …
