It’s only 80% cotton but the sleeve on this hoodie must have been the victim to puppy teeth as well, I’m not sure how else there would be so many small holes. I am mending them with a red patch in the back and running stitches of black embroidery thread. #cotton #mendmarch2025 #mendmarch

“It’s a lot” This was a learn to use the sewing machine project from my mom. She cut the squares, I sewed them together with big X’s and the. She put the entire quilt together. When I got my puppy 3 years ago, she chewed big holes in the quilt. I want to fix them with patches. 1/2

“Swap it” So yesterday our community had a clothing swap. I got a jacket that needed the seams on its pockets and lining repaired. I did a pretty quick job by hand with some embroidery thread. I probably could have done it more invisibly but this will keep the coins in my pockets. #mendmarch2025
