@RiuHoteles your NYC Times Square location is currently an accessibility nightmare. I have been waiting for 30 minutes for an elevator. I cannot take the stairs. And I cannot stand all day. I would very much like to get out

There are four in my state and six more within an hour drive drive from my house. Shout out to @mahoganybooks.bsky.social my local Black-owned bookstore.

Snow’s coming!!! So excited cause we haven’t had real snow in a long time.

Happy Blurrsday, everybody! Hope you are getting absolutely nothing done today. Only way to celebrate.

I have so much loose tea that I’m having a pot a day.Welcome to my nightly tea report: Today’s tea is green chai. I sweetened it with some agave. I always feel like I’m using too much but still not enough. Anyone having tea tonight? #addtoblacksky

Listening to WFH hubby do a presentation on the leadership style of Nelson Mandela is kinda sexy ngl.

Recite 80% of a movie…what are you picking?

19 if you count driving through Chicago.

Friends, it’s only 7:30 pm! I was preparing to go to bed. Curse you, Daylight Savings Time! 😡

This is so wild. Now guess the racial makeup of this area compared to the rest of DC. Yup, you guessed it.

I serve on the board of this organization. Our mission is wellness through knitting. I knit and crochet and these crafts have carried me though some of the toughest times in my life. Consider a donation on this #GivingTuesday. projectknitwell.org/about-2/miss...

Goodbye November. Feels like I never really knew you.

Best think about location tracking my adult children is seeing if they’ve left the store they’re in so they can grab something I forgot to tell them I wanted before they left the house. Cookies, son. Please.

Growing up poor. It has made me grateful for every thing I have and made me innovative and resourceful.

I guess we are playing against the Chargers and the refs. Being a Baltimore Ravens fan is not for the faint at heart. Although, we earned that last flag.

I am reading a book right now and I found myself waiting for something to happen. I’m on chapter 6. Something should have already happened. Thanks @barnesandnoble.bsky.social I needed to hear that today.

Since the election, in the spirit of finding joy, I realized that there are foods that I enjoy but don’t buy. I remedied that by buying a box of Uncrustables with grape jelly. This doesn’t need to happen all the time but it definitely needs to happen more often.

We got 5 snowflakes in Fort Washington before it turned to rain. Like, it was done before I could get my phone for a pic. DC snow hole indeed…

Why ya’ll ain’t tell me about digital planners and notetaking apps?!?!? Ya’ll know I buy paper planners every year but I’m super allergic to dust and do not need another paper book in my house. Ya’ll knew I have an Apple Pencil. I thought we were friends…sigh

I accidentally opened Twitter instead of this app and the difference was jarring. Can’t wait until all my Baltimore Ravens and other video-based accounts can come over. Then my social media life will be complete. 😁

I asked my brain why, since I read more than one book at a time and knit more than project at a time, couldn’t I work on two books at a time. Maybe not actively drafting. Maybe plotting one and writing the other. My brain’s answer? “You never tried.”
