A lot of people compare government to private businesses. We've heard it a million times:"The government needs to run more like a business!" But the problem is that government isn't a business. They do totally different things.

Hey, so who in fact is paying the salaries of the "talented, young engineers" who are the DOGE flunkies? And how much are they paid? Shouldn't that be public record if they are paid by tax dollars?

My BlueSky feed today is filled with news of plane crashes in Brazil and then this one in the Philippines, in addition to more discussion of the crashes in DC and in Philadelphia Why? Aircraft crash for lots of reasons. These four crashes are unrelated. Why show up in my feed?
