Here we developed a scale to let students assess whether their teachers' use of digital technologies serves four dimensions of #instructionalquality in everyday school settings. We asked 2'247 teachers whether they covered topics such as the ethical issues of automation or #medialiteracy in class. We then looked at what factors predicted these actions. We found that teachers' belief in their responsibility and competence are crucial. High-tech classrooms aren't the key. ✨🧠👩🏼‍🏫
