Holy shit, Jane Fonda! šŸ‘šŸ„¹ #SAGawards

NEW: The Associated Press is suing Trump Administration officials in federal court for banning AP reporters from events over the organization continuing to use the name 'Gulf of Mexico.' AP says the ban violates the First and Fifth Amendments.

HOLLYWOOD, PLEASE PUT NORMAL PEOPLE ON OUR SCREENS! NO ONE LOOKS PERFECT ALL THE TIME!! THAT LADYā€™S FACE DOESNT MOVE AFTER SHE FINDS OUR HER CHILD WAS JUST IN A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT AND THE SIZE OF THAT MANā€™S CHIN RIVALā€™S THAT OF THE TICK. WHY IS IT SO BIG? WHOā€™S THAT FOR, THE WORLD WAR II VETS?

Back to our regularly scheduled doom scrolling. Thanks, #SNL50!

Iā€™m like to know what Mango and Shy Ronnie are up to these days #SNL50

DeNiro gave us ā€œPlastic in my bwallsā€ tonight, and thatā€™s beautiful

Someone make that close up on Robert DeNiro a gif, please

Iā€™m a Mary Katherine Gallagher rising and a Debbie Downer moon

All I hear is Orlando Brownā€™s impression of Lil Wayne šŸ˜©

Mike Myers, that brilliant bastard

The crackling sound from Maya Rudolphā€™s hair on her mic, the shadow from the boom mic, and then cutting back to her pulling her hair over her shoulder and away from the mic. Live problem solvingšŸ‘

The musical skits will always do it for me, idk what to tell you guys

Thatā€™s Nathan motherfucking Lane singing ā€œcocaine and some vodkaā€ to the tune of ā€œHakuna Matataā€ kids #SNL50

The pain in Adam Sandlerā€™s face when he sang about Chris Farley and Norm Macdonald šŸ˜

They raised me šŸ„¹ #SNL50

These #SNL50 events have me watching commercials again like I did in the early 2000s when I watched SNL religiously šŸ„¹

I know Sharpay šŸŽ¤šŸ’•āœØ and Rachel Berry āļø energy when I see it

When I think back on the things that have contributed to my radicalization early in life, I think of First Wives Club and how the happy ending is of the three woman protagonists singing and dancing in the street at dusk in NYC while wearing white

We are calling for a nationwide and international boycott of all Elon Musk-related products and services. Sell your Tesla shares, avoid buying Tesla vehicles, cancel Starlink, and delete your X accounts.

Conflict of interest? The State Departmentā€™s procurement forecast lists Tesla as the recipient of the largest expected contract, with Marco Rubioā€™s department planning to purchase $400 million worth of ā€œArmored Teslaā€ vehicles.

This feels like the part of the movie where you know everyoneā€™s in danger, but they canā€™t see it yet, and youā€™re yelling at them to run and get out while they still can.

Does size matter? It does when you are claiming a massive landslide mandate victory- but the tiny size of your puny victory is historically among the lowest, and, well, inch deep. Please share Lalo Alcaraz cartoons and get one of his 2025 Lalo Alcaraz Cartoon Calendars at laloalcaraz.com.

Interviewer: Why do you think youā€™re the best fit for this position? Me, a jack of all trades with a BA in History: I donā€™t have a masterā€™s degree, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills Iā€™ve acquired over a long career. Skills that make me perfect for a position like this.

The skill regression thing that comes from burnout is HORRIBLE. I was able to get a BA in History and managed to coordinate over 100 public music performances each academic year at work. That all seems damn near impossible to me now.

I wrote terrible poetry as a teenager with strict parents in early 2000s south Texas. Iā€™d write them out by hand with a pen on a spiral notebook. When I had my final draft, Iā€™d type it out on Miscrosoft Word, find a ā€œfunā€ font like Chiller or Papyrus, and print it on an inkjet printer.

Iā€™ve experienced an actual changing of the seasons twice in Pennsylvania now, and I think thatā€™s enough for this south Texas gal. šŸŒ·ā˜€ļøšŸ‚ā„ļø

Why tf am I living in what feels like a futuristic dystopian novel?

I know everyone is talking about Matt Gaetz but please don't miss this: Georgia fired every single person on its maternal mortality review committee. Why? They didn't like that reporters found out that the state's ban killed two women www.propublica.org/article/geor...

I donā€™t want to *have to* be wealthy just to be able to live a comfortable life.

Prepping my Wicked movie outfit for tomorrow. Iā€™ve been waiting so long for this. šŸ„¹ šŸ’ššŸ©·

I canā€™t give yā€™all book recs because I immediately forget everything I just read after finishing a book.

Which are the most fun I Love Lucy ā™„ļø episodes? Hollywood in season four or Europe in season five?

Images you can hear #shrek

Loving Wicked while being a crappy singer is a different kind of pain. šŸ„²

Advice from a Literature teacher and resister: read your history, but donā€™t forget your literature. Resistance is woven through the words of abolitionism and feminism and anti-fascism. Read the history and the literature.

Anyone watching Like Water for Chocolate on Max? There are only two episodes out so far, but itā€™s a good watch.

One bonus fun thing about this place is the ā€œskeetsā€ thing because now I get to sing ā€œGet Lowā€ to myself like itā€™s 2007 every time I come across the word.

I know many children of immigrants arenā€™t allowed the opportunity to learn the languages and traditions of our parents or grandparentsā€™ home countries, so I realize how fortunate I am to have had a mom who insisted I learn to read, write, and speak Spanish. I can enjoy even more art because of it. šŸ’™

This is it. This is the skeet that has made me feel at home.

Theyā€™re talking Christofascism over on the clock app. Fascinating.
