Elon Musk's maternal grandparents relocated from Canada to South Africa in the early 1900s, where they were in the German Nazi Party. They supported Hitler and then went to South Africa, a stronghold of support for Nazism outside of Germany. Musk was an anti-semite and an apartheid lover.
