Free Mahmoud Khalil. It's important to protect speech, even, perhaps especially, when we don't agree what's being said. If we don't support other people's First Amendment rights, then who will protect ours? We have to all be in this together.

National monuments may be on the chopping block. Despite bipartisan support for protecting public lands, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum ordered agencies to produce action plans to carry out Trump's "energy first" agenda. Buried in that order are instructions to review all national monuments.

This is simply incredible: Christiane Amanpour said reports indicate that the Trump regime reached out to opposition leaders in Ukraine to try to get them to challenge Zelensky, and they said no. This is election interference at best - like trying to start a coup! He is following Putin’s playbook!
