Your regular reminder that the more often you own your mistakes, the easier it gets. It is like any muscle-- work it more and it gets stronger. All people mess up, and sometimes we do so publicly. It's not the end of the world to acknowledge that we missed the mark; it's how we clean up.

Dear authors of the world: Please refrain from mentioning the characters/world of the queen of the TERFs in your otherwise excellent reads.

#ProudBlue #Voices4Victory Republicans don’t care about the human toll their policies have on American troops or hardworking families.

🚨BREAKING: Federal Court GRANTS sweeping nationwide injunction against Trump DEI executive orders finding that they violate First and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution. A huge victory for @democracyforward.org and its clients. A stinging loss for Trump. Visit www.democracydocket.com for details.

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

I will no doubt regret sharing this quote but I do actually wonder as well now that I’ve read this…(👩‍❤️‍👩🏳️‍🌈)

This is so unbelievably heartbreaking. This is Donald Trump’s America.

We've taught the youngling that's living with us the term amuse-bouche when he is demanding a snack minutes before dinner is complete. Every time she says it, the amusement in my love's voice makes me smile. (Yes, I started it)

People who write about "this is the wrong fight to pick," never ever actually fight for anything. Feel free to ignore them.

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

This CNN headline is…chilling

I want to ignore this as ridiculous compared to very real major issues but this feels death by a thousand cuts to me

Dear John, i hear you like 'em young… don't you think nineteen's too young?😭😭😭

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

Folks: I am NOT affiliated with the group that is using my name to support an economic boycott. Please spread this post, if you would.

Not "all white people" are wrong. But when it comes to race, the majority of white Americans have been on the wrong side of every single racial issue in the 248-year history of this country. So why would anyone even care what they think about Black art?

Hold the fuck on a minute — Assistant President Poopy Pants spent $15 million taxpayer dollars to attend a single football game, but Phony Stark’s Division of DOGEbags can’t find the money to fund childhood cancer research? Are you fucking kidding me?!?

Just showed the latest ‘HeGetsUs’ Super Bowl ad to Jesus and Johnny Cash and they’re both freaking PISSED.

For the benefit of UK audiences, 'Super Bowl' is a long American TV show featuring live music and commercials interrupted by brief, choreographed collisions between wealthy men in protective costumes, for the enrichment of a handful of even wealthier men, observed by Taylor Swift.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out. Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation. Say equity, which a just society should pursue. Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.
