Bad couple of weeks for CRJs

Lamar got his moment of hating, Chiefs haters have enough material tonight for the rest of Mahomes’s career, just a great Super Bowl for haters in general

Thank you Senator for your continued persistence on this issue. Keep up the fight!

Honestly, there’s a lesson here for every institution that is sliding down the path of enablement: none of your quiet accommodations will protect you if they decide that you’re the villain of the week

CNN with an absolutely gigantic story: "Elon Musk’s top lieutenants at the Treasury Department asked its acting secretary, a career civil servant, to immediately shut off all USAID payments using the department’s own ultra-sensitive payment processing system." edition.cnn.com/2025/02/06/p...

One thing I’m thinking about more these past two weeks is that you absolutely vote with your wallet

This is a great way to mildly inhibit aviation safety numbers, kill some 3,000 people, and tank all airline revenue lol

Murphy: "We need to act like a real opposition party in the middle of a constitutional and democracy crisis. That means we should not be moving forward nominees or legislation in the Senate. Ds should not be giving votes to nominee or legislation in the Senate until Rs get serious about this crisis"

Need to do this tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

Thank you Chuck! Now, can you call on your collegial Republicans to remove Elon from Washington in the spirit of “Bipartisanship”?

Raskin: "Elon Musk, you may have illegally seized power over the financial payments systems of the Treasury, but you don't control the money of the American people. The US Congress does that under Article 1 of the Constitution ... we don't have a fourth branch of government called 'Elon Musk'"

@pressley.house.gov @whipkclark.bsky.social Should be on this list but aren't.

THANK YOU! Need more of this

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM. We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building. Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

This should have been a press conference at the department of the treasury

Let's talk about the "escalation ladder". At any point in a conflict, you have a number of self-defense options ranging from lower risk (legally, ethically, physically) to higher risk. On the bottom rung of the escalation ladder are options like raising your voice. At the top would be deadly force.

You Cannot allow this continue

Everyone seems to be framing Trump's freeze on federal grants as a Constitutional fight over powers of the purse & whether presidents can disregard Congressional appropriations. It is that. But also at stake is the fundamental validity of government contracts! I see much less discussion on this... 🧵

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social probably thinks saying something about this would be a distraction, but it might actually prevent a bribe and save the integrity of an important news organization, and it would simply be the right thing to do. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/30/b...

More of this, Mr. Jeffries. More of this.

Gonna start a nonsensical “Adam Vinatieri’s the goat campaign just for this

This is all true but does not invalidate “Donald Trump is making air travel less safe” which is both True and Politically Expedient

Adding this to the list of thing ms that fuels a simmering rage that will eventually be used somewhere, be that a call-to-action, a march, a sit-in.

This is unjust, unprecedented, and unlawful. Donald Trump is on the side of the bosses and billionaires and he is mounting a full-blown attack on working people. news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-...

Mostly bumping these for the Dem staffer engagement numbers on posts like this

Need more of this

If not for the fig leaf of only applying it prospectively (why? even on its own terms it's not like the Constitution changes in thirty days), then under this decree the vast majority of Americans can't prove they are citizens. Think you can? Try it. 1/

We honestly should have known what Schumer was about from January 7th, if we didn't know then, we know now

As someone whose primary appreciation of Carrie Underwood is through her Christmas album, Carrie Underwood performing at Trump's inauguration is both disheartening and completely unsurprising.

LA fires are a good reminder that the only difference between me and any refugee is luck.

I feel like this puts to words what she’s sort have implied for basically her entire professional career. Obviously the clarity is shocking, but this shouldn’t be surprising
