The problem with Hitler comparisons is that too many people only think of the guy that killed millions of Jews and others, not the same guy a decade or more earlier than that started. You know, the guy that purged the government of non-loyalists, and set his eye on conquering other countries.

MAGA leadership want you to think the anti-DEI policies are about gender identity so you are distracted from their primary objective: the white patriarchy. The “anti-woke” policies are racist and sexist at their core. The GOP is trying to make you think this is only about trans people. It is not.

In the US, the largest part of the federal budget goes to “defense”. However, that part of the government is exempt from financial audits. We KNOW the defense part of the government spend orders of magnitude more on products that are literally identical to those available in the private sector. ?!?!

One of the hallmarks of the American ethos was “live and let live.” I say “was” for obvious reasons. Minding your own business used to be table stakes here in the US, and an absolute minimum standard for being considered a decent person. That’s an incredibly low bar, if you think about it.
