The fact that Rice felt the need to point to the wide open goal to show Odegaard what to do in this position is hilarious to me.

What a crazy game. Could have gone down to 10 in the first half, end up scoring 7 instead. PSV didn't know how to deal with our movement. Maybe we do have something to play for after all.

Calafiori asserting LB dominance so far with the goal. Tierney threatening, Zinny with some strong efforts too though.

7-1! Beautiful through ball from Odegaard and Calafiori makes a marauding run through midfield comfortably slots it past the keeper.

Tierney genuinely more of a threat than Sterling on the wing. What happened to Raheem?!

3 left backs on the pitch. A front 3 of Tierney, Trossard, Sterling. Football heritage.

6-1! Parting of the waves in midfield, Odegaard runs through and has no option but to shoot. Keeper makes a mess of it.

Who needs a striker, eh?

Haha 5-1. Trossard. PSV's heads still in the dressing room. This could be 8 or 9 if they keep playing like this.

4-1 Odegaard tap in. Great work from Nwaneri. Poor defending from PSV again.

Odegaard has been in a position to shoot 4 times this game and passed to the opponent instead in 3 of them. He need some confidence back in front of goal.

Great pen, Raya doesn't even move. 3-1. Don't throw this away.

Partey gets pushed into a PSV player, yellow card and penalty... very very harsh.

Merino! Horrible defending from PSV.

MLS needs to calm the fuck down. Sub him off.

Nwaneri! This is a walk in the park. Attacking the left back position over and over is getting results.

1-0 Timber!

An inch away from this again.

Regardless of how unintentional the contact is, a player just stopped Odegaard scoring a goal. We've had multiple penalties given against us for that, many with straight reds. Should have been a penalty.

Time to start looking down, not up.

Calafiori nearly scores an absolute worldie. Fairly sure he'll be sent off at some point however.

So what do people get up to when they're not obsessing over a title race? Asking for a friend...

How do we feel if City win tomorrow? Technically the race is still on but we'd have to beat Liverpool, they'd have to lose again, and we'd have to win every other game which seems highly unlikely.

The DOGSO rule literally states 'distance to goal' as one of the decision metrics for a syreight red. Have you ever seen a 'last man' situation further from goal? Every technicality, every 'letter of the law', every 1 in 10,000 decision has been given against us this season.

Arsenal fans have been gaslit so much I'm seeing half the fanbase claim it was a 'nailed on red'. Not in a million years my friends. The ref gave a yellow. Where's the clear and obvious error? What could he have missed? The foul started in the West Ham half!

Another trophyless season is going to be really tough for the players to take. I really hope we spend big on new signings early in summer and can convince the core players to sign new contracts or this could all go south very quickly.

94th minute we give the ball away in exactly the same situation MLS gets sent off, the player doesn't shoot with Raya 40 yards off his line, and they don't score. You can't tell me a foul on the half way line can ever be a straight red for denying a goal.

Red card for a foul in the other teams half, no yellow for a foul to stop a shot at the edge of the area. The rules of our game make no sense.

Red for MLS. Even further from goal than the Saliba one.

If MLS gets a red for this... dear god.

Arsenal goal coming. We're putting them under so much pressure.

This is starting to feel like the Villa match last season.

Another brace from Merino would be good about now please. We've got nothing on the bench.

First attempt on target from West Ham, first goal. Happens so frequently against us.

Odegaard loses the ball on the edge of the West Ham area after extended pressure, West Ham break (not even particularly quickly) and score a free header. Terrible defending.

This is one of those games where if we score 1 we'll score another 2. It's just a matter of time.

Already a much more controlled start from Arsenal today. No real chances yet though.
