Last night I dreamt I was at brunch with friends and the restaurant was serving shrimp ice cream topped with whale. Searched it and discovered fish ice cream is a thing in Japan. Now I want to make it (without whale), eat it and also visit Japan!

My unpopular idea is that vehicles should be taxed by weight. This would incentivize smaller lighter cars that pollute less from their tires and/or tailpipes, and do less damage to roads and most importantly to people.

2024 was the year I started opening the NYTimes app and clicking to the games before the news could load. Towards the end of the year I think they caught onto this and changed it, so now everything loads so slowly that you don't need to see the news unless you really want to. Thanks @nytimes.com!

Just fished reading the (audio)book The Man in the High Castle by Phillip K. Dick. It describes the Nazis winning WWII, spreading fascism in the US and around the world, and launching rockets to Mars. Strangely relevant.
