RIP to one of the greatest baseball players of all time. My dad used to take me and my older brother on the BART to go watch Rickey play. I was lucky enough to see him steal 3 bases in one game against the Brewers in 1982. Dude was unreal. 65 is way too young to go. Very sad news.

Even though we might be out of it, I was somewhat encouraged despite City’s loss yesterday. Ederson going to the bench was the right call. Defense overall was better than it’s been in months. Liverpool is just a superior squad right now, no excuses. Fair play to them.

As a Giants fan, the Dodgers signing Blake Snell to a nine-figure contract makes me feel……nothing. Snell is a me first guy who rarely pitches over 130 innings in a season. Now that he has a guaranteed long-term deal, color me unsurprised when the injuries start piling up.
