Lethbridge Police Service seems to be going the same way as Calgary Police Service has with their dogs. Sigh. Although Calgary’s canine unit was formed in 1960, Canada’s historic use of police dogs on Black people dates from slave catchers to current day. A bit of a long thread. 1/🧵
