I have witnessed someone drown because I didn’t know what it looked like. I grew up on the water in FL and am a fully trained physician and it still happened. Articles like this are invaluable

So much effort to move us to an uninhabitable desert rather than try to preserve and protect the literally perfect planet that we have

Did it pass the test though?

Dying isn’t always the worst outcome

Hey @usedgov.bsky.social I have been trying to submit my updated PSLF form and the site has been inaccessible for WEEKS. I (and many many others) made life altering decisions and held our end of the agreement in good faith for YEARS. We have earned loan forgiveness when we meet criteria

Our friends came for dinner last night with tupperware to return. They left again with the tupperware and leftovers. 😆😍😂 Food is love.

My whole life I had thought of a Wombat as equal in prowess and ferociousness as the fearsome Wolverine. I googled a picture out of curiosity from this post and ohmygoodnessitssocute

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. rejects proven science in favor of discredited "miasma theory" he barely even understands, which may help explain some of the actions he's been taking. Fixed, as they say, it for you.

the story today is of a profoundly low energy military parade being met with millions of americans in nationwide protests denouncing the dictatorial pretensions of the president

Nurses standing up and speaking out in Seattle at #nokings #nokingsseattle. We consistently rank as the most trusted profession. Because of that, we have a responsibility to speaking up for what is right when our patients and profession are threatened

HAPPENING NOW: A sea of protesters have gathered in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a “No Kings Day” rally against Donald Trump (Video: WXYZ-TV)

“Ancient miasma theory” as if this is just some sort of old-fashioned common-sense idea instead of the equivalent of believing in fairies or witches. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I love you Seattle. #abolishice #nokings

Time for our weekly #AltComms #MMWR update! Coming in hot with our first article. www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes...

Last 5 things that have similarly left a mark Sorcerer- William Friedkin The Right Stuff- Tom Wolfe Superunknown- Soundgarden The Moviegoer- Walker Percy Lonesome Dove- Larry McMurtry

Saw “All That Jazz” for the first time last night and am completely floored. The infinite stream of art that exists out of my consciousness and alters my perception of the world whenever I come across it remains such a gift

I’ve never seen anything like The Rehearsal before. Hilarious and yet so baffling. Great stuff

This might be the first and only time Ireland won’t claim an ancestral relationship with a person

It was a genuine privilege to work at @utmcgovern. I’m excited to see what opportunities await @emorydeptofmed.bsky.social

So many of us have chosen our careers and planned financially specifically with the hope that some of these overwhelming loans can be forgiven. I sincerely hope our “advocates” in congress and medical societies are actively lobbying for this to be removed www.forbes.com/sites/adammi...

YES! The Internet always knows what to do!!

I need more packing with blatantly false nutritional info in my life to feel better about myself. I ate ten of these and feel great

I just want to get my med school loans paid off.

The Rehearsal but medical students trying to do well on Step 3

Wild to me that amidst all these concerns for the low birth rate and strategies for encouraging people to have kids there is zero insight or discussion on how to cultivate a supportive environment for kids

I went to the Tate Modern yesterday. In the Rothko room with all the Serious Art Connoisseurs there was a ~5 year old kid who walked up to each painting, pointed at it and shouted 'RECTANGLE' at each one in turn, then left the room.

“Moving around, taking nourishment” is absolutely slaying me

29 million Americans are without affordable quality healthcare — the highest level since 2021. Healthcare is a human right. It’s time for the U.S. to deliver and pass Medicare for All.

I’m far from an economics expert, but I know it’s bad when traders on Wall Street are doing the 2021 I-work-in-healthcare pose

Ok I’ll bite, what’s a tariff
