🤣🤣🤣 This is so me! If I start a story, buckle up. You're in for a ride.

Do you struggle to feed your family as an #adhdmom? I do! Decision making, motivation, & task initiation are all EF involved in the meal planning process. No wonder we struggle. Creating family favorites list has helped me so I don't have use as much dopamine figuring out what to make each week.

I could retire early with the money I spent on planners I barely used over the years...🤣 #adhd

Motivation, task initiation, prioritization, and time management are all executive functions. So it makes sense that those things may be a struggle for those of us with #adhd. But with practice and accountability, we can start to actually follow through and see progress on our goals.

🧠: hey, remember [important thing]? me: crap, yeah… but I can’t do anything about it now, I’m focusing on something else 🧠: but if you don’t do it now, I’m never going to remind you about this again me: …fine, I’ll do it now 🧠: hey, I just remembered another thing…

Long to-do lists can feel incredibly overwhelming for #ADHD brains. Could be due decision making about what to do? Or prioritizing what to do first? Or maybe it's because none of it feels fun or exciting? Making simpler list can be one step in helping quell overwhelm & initiate tasks.

Guilty...😬

What are you grateful for today? Did you know that practicing gratitude can help boost your dopamine and serotonin levels? Or that it can help you rebound from RSD quicker by helping your brain to reframe negative thoughts? Who knew gratitude could be so helpful for your #adhd mindset!?!

Yep. Feels very "Wednesday after holiday break and 2 snow days" appropriate. 🤪

The more you tell yourself something, the more likely you are to believe it. Which is why regular positive affirmations are so important for us #adhd entrepreneurs and #adhdmoms looking to reframe our mindset in a more positive way. What's your affirmation for today?

What's the worst thing leftover in your fridge? 😬 Take a few minutes to clear out any of the holiday leftovers and other food from your fridge that you know no one will eat in your home. Decluttering the fridge helps #adhd moms with meal planning and helps us find what we have when we need it.

Always a good reminder!

If you've got decluttering on your 2025 Bingo card, try this simple, #ADHD friendly hack this weekend to help jumpstart your progress.

If you've got big plans and goals for your self or your business in 2025, you need to spend time figuring out WHAT you're going to do this month and WHEN you're going to do it. Scheduling's important bc #ADHD brains love to make plans...but often forget to see how they collide with other plans.

Today's tiny task... Update your calendar for the year with all the dates you don't want to forget This helps with #adhd because... A) we see where we've made commitments & helps us avoid overscheduling B) it can help us remember an event or project that is not happening in the near future

Lack of screen time leads to boredom Boredom leads to creativity Sometimes boredom leads to deep self reflection Take a technology break once and a while

Happy 2025!! 🎉🎉🎉 All month long I'll be sharing tiny tasks you can do each day to help support your #ADHD brain and life as an #ADHDmom business owner. Up first...create a vision board

just a reminder: it’s okay if you get overwhelmed today. there’s a lot going on: noise, people, emotions. demands for your attention/energy. so take a few minutes. find a quiet space to catch your breath. check your phone. do a quick reset. you’re doing great. hang in there.

Some days with #ADHD feel like chaos, others like clarity. Both are part of the journey—progress isn’t always linear. #ADHDJourney #Neurodiversity #OneStepAtATime #adhdawareness #adhdbrain

Hey #adhd moms and dads... Take a moment to make sure you've got wrapping supplies now sonyou don't have to run out at 1030pm tonight for tape. From an #adhdmom who has regularly had to run out at 1030pm for tape...🤪

Just a reminder to anyone who needs to refill, call in, or drop off their stimulant prescription in the next few days. Pharmacies may have reduced hours for the holiday. Do it ASAP. #adhd #adhdlife
