SONG OF THE DAY 8 Big Country - Steeltown Stuart Adamson had a great knack for lyrics that spoke up for the working classes. This, about the disenfranchisement of the British steel industry, specifically Corby and the effect on the workers and families is one of the best. A real thumper! Enjoy 💙

SONG OF THE DAY 7 Soft Cell - Say Hello, Wave Goodbye (12") OH MY DAYS! Already a classic song. But, the 12" version with the stunningly, gorgeously long clarinet intro by Dave Tofani makes my heart soar through the clouds. One of the absolute best tracks of the 80's, don't argue with me. Enjoy 💙
