Gun violence is not inevitable. It’s a policy choice. We’ve passed real reform in MI. Legislation that would require firearms be safely secured so kids can’t get a hold of their parent’s guns. We can do it on the federal level. We just need the will.

I agree—Garcia deserved due process, full stop. We must also underscore that no credible evidence has ever emerged suggesting he’s a member of MS-13 or ever has been, nor has any court come within a million miles of such a finding; he has no record; and an ex parte TRO isn’t evidence of misconduct.
