10. To me, it's a non-negotiable. You want to change the culture of the program you start there. It is unacceptable to quit on your teammates.

Churn. It's the term for the subscribers you lose due to cancellations, credit card problems, etc. It's the riptide that pulls magazines out to sea. Each month we look for new subscribers to get us back to shore and, if we're lucky, maybe even to the car. clarkesworldmagazine.com/subscribe/

As a literary agent, I cannot stress how critical it is to make sure each #book in a #series is able to be #read as a stand-alone. While this is for several reasons, the ease of accessibility is a strong contender, especially if your #family shops exclusively at used #bookstores, like mine did!
