How in "god's" name are BAR-nocularS not a more widely known product? "Double Flask - Get into the game ...or the concert ...or the races ...or the show" If we had these when we were kids? Well, we'd look pretty silly wearing them into Club Minimal or Ruthie's Inn or Gilman Street. But still.

Fell down a "goth" hole. Why/where'd the term come from? It WAS "Death Rock" circa '82. "Goth" reads kinda "steampunk" creepy. (K. W. Jeter coined the S.P. term tongue-in-cheek circa '83.) ALL labels are awful, Punk, too. But if Nervous Gender isn't part of your "goth" "lifestyle" I have questions.

Re: Looking for Mr. Goodbar In high school, '83-84 semester, our TV Production teacher spent a day lecturing us on why he despised L. for Mr. G. A full hour of a goofy man complaining that he didn't want to leave a theatre feeling unhappy/uninspired. What movies did he watch in the '70s?

If there's a better final, painfully cathartic album - a double @ that - than Celtic Frost's "Monotheist," fill me in. On the cathode ray level, SCTV & the Rockford Files' final seasons fill me with similar joy. But catharsis? No. "In My Head" & "Cast of Thousands" kill, but not like "Monotheist."
