Is this a safe place? Because, holy fuck, dating is exhausting. I’m always the one initiating plans, barely getting a single date out several “matches”, and when it happens, the actual date feels empty. I usually cringe at complaints about gay dating, but damn, I’m just so tired.

Not to be dramatic, but working for the Federal government is one of the most emotionally draining experiences right now. The US Department of Transportation (and the various modal agencies in the DOT umbrella) is planning to eliminate between 25-50% of positions through a RIF. It’s bleak.
