hey @hankgreen.bsky.social I had a random science thought that I had to share to ease my obsessive brain: I bet cinnamon in water would help it get to a "rolling" boil quite fast due to how hydrophobic it is. I'd assume it would provide a lot of nucleation sites. Don't know why I thought of that.

@annalisawagner.bsky.social an exercise you can do throughout the day is to literally just clinch/flex your butt anytime you're sitting. hold for 5ish seconds, slowly unflex, rest 5, repeat ad nauseum. it won't get fast results, but no knee strain. you can hold a weight in your lap too.

I started reading the Tracker/ Colter Shaw books bc of the show. It's funny how much of it changed. They kept the survivalist and rewardist angle, but you can tell someone said "make him more like Reacher." He went from 5'11 and lithe to Hartley's height and a badass.
