Oh God... #FilmSky

With Philip Barantini's new miniseries soon to premiere on Netflix, I'm taking another look at the director's excellent 2021 one-shot wonder, Boiling Point. #FilmSky

Oh yes! The first teaser trailer of #Andor season 2 is here. Well, unless you count the one they showed us at Star Wars Celebration in London a couple of years ago. This looks amazing! 😊

Found this somewhere online, and I love it. 😁 #JRRTolkien #TheLordoftheRings

This will be a strange week. I'm taking a break from writing on my Substack, as I'll focus on getting started on one of my screenplays. Not only that, my real ADHD evaluation starts tomorrow. And I admit that I'm both nervous and relieved to finally get to the bottom of that after so many years.

The newest issue of "The Bull Sheet" is up, with musings on the upcoming Academy Awards, how uncomfortable I am with 1-1 Zoom interviews, and updates on my upcoming articles. #FilmSky

"Freedom is what allows people like you to do whatever you want. Liberty is what protects the rest of us from people like you." -George Mullen (Robert De Nero), Zero Day Here's my review of the #Netflix political thriller series #ZeroDay, starring Robert De Niro as former president George Mullen.

This week's guest writer on my Substack site, The Bull's Eye, is none other than my lovely wife, Ragna Matea Bull. She has reviewed the upcoming 3rd season of #Reacher, and as a fan of the novels this series is based on, she's wasn't too sure about the previous season. But this works! Enjoy! 😊

I didn't think it would be, but this will be a busy week on my Substack, The Bull's Eye (www.thebullseye.no/ Later today: a review of the 3rd season of #Reacher. Tomorrow: a review of the Netflix miniseries #ZeroDay. And on Friday, another The Bull Sheet-update. 😊 #FilmSky

Well, that’s new. My older brother (who I haven’t seen eye to eye with in years) a self-proclaimed Norse pagan, author, and what I’d personally call a “champagne Viking,” now sitting in the Norwegian woods, discussing Jesus, Christian Nationalists, and Trump. Checking my 2025 bingo card...

Finished watching the upcoming #Netflix miniseries #ZeroDay, a political thriller starring Robert De Niro, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Angela Bassett, and more. I’ll post my review in a few days, and my coverage of tomorrow’s press conference about the show a few days after that.

I’ve applied to two film festival juries this year: Brussels International Film Festival (June 20-28) and Munich Film Festival (June 27-July 6). Yes, film festivals. I'm more interested in great films, chocolate, and beer than politics.

I love a good monster movie, but #TheGorge by @scottderrickson.bsky.social and @crobertcargill.bsky.social is more than that. Original, but old-school, and two amazing lead actors. I have written some thoughts on my Substack. More of this, please! 😊 #FilmSky

Just finished another rewatch of what might just be my favorite TV series of all time. At least, I can't remember any series that has hit me like this. Sanada, Sawai, Jarvis, Asano, and Hoshi... I mean, seriously!

After something of a burn-out from watching all those Golden Globes For Your Consideration screeners last year, I've started watching movies again. So, here are my #LastFourWatched, although the Wallace and Gromit one was back in December.

Here's my long-ish and slightly political review of #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld. 😊

Watched Captain America: Brave New World today, and I wanted to post my review tonight later, but it's embargoed so it will have to wait until tomorrow. 🦅

Yay! I’ve officially joined Moovy.dk as a regular writer! I’ve contributed sporadically before, but now I’m fully on board with one of Denmark’s major film and TV sites. And of course, the English versions of my articles will still be posted on The Bull’s Eye as usual. 😊

Just watched Scott Derrickson’s The Gorge, starring Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy. The review embargo is still in place, but I’ll share my thoughts on my Substack as soon as I can next week! In the meantime, here’s the trailer: #FilmSky #TheGorge #AppleTV #AnyaTaylorJoy #MilesTeller

The return of Sam Wilson as Captain America in Captain America: Brave New World is imminent. Here is my coverage of Sunday’s massive press conference with the cast and the filmmakers. Enjoy! 😊 #Marvel #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld #FilmSky

A new The Bull Sheet is out. In this one: the troubles over at Medium, challenges regarding AI, how I write and use (the horror!) AI to assist my neurodivergent brain, and regular updates.

This morning's plate-spinning film journalism sheenanigans: I'm a Norwegian, refining an English-language press conference transcript for #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld into English and Danish articles at the same time. Also, this is the first time I've ever worked with quotes from Harrison Ford! 🤩

Sometimes, when I have my breakfast, I feel like someone, or something, is watching me.

Writing the next The Bull Sheet (a bi-weekly update on my Substack), and I need a picture of the most iconic "killer robot" in movies or television. But which is it? The Terminator? Something else? 🤔🤖 Suggestions, @juneandcie.bsky.social

Thinking about Sweden... 💔

This week, guest writer Thor Aaberg reviews #AppleCiderVinegar, the #Netflix miniseries about the rise and fall of wellness scammer Belle Gibson. Read it here:

I was in the same Zoom as Harrison Ford yesterday. As a Star Wars fan I find this utterly surreal. 😮
