Lord knows I’m not a constitutional scholar not even a lawyer (and I’ve yet to check in with @kateshaw.bsky.social) but a legal regime in which “you can do crimes if you’re buddies with the president or praise him publicly” is *on its face* a violation the equal protection of the laws.

I’m confused how awarding 4 years of back pay in a lump sum to 8,000 service members who were discharged for refusing to get vaccinated is good for the morale of the other 99% of troops who spent the last 4 years working their asses off on active duty for that same pay.

Haven’t been on Facebook now for two weeks. Honestly don’t miss it. So I guess that means I can cancel my account. Still enjoy Insta (for now), but may also drop it in the coming month or so. Don’t need to give Zuckerberg more money or support his way of doing business.

Reduced shopping on Amazon.com so far this month of Jan by over 75% YoY. Plan to continue lessening my dependency and instead will be supporting local stores. I may even stop my Amazon Prime membership as I wont be needing to shop as often on the platform. We shall see.

The outrageous paychecks of the C-suite needs to end. Workers deserve better and the C-suite has too much. And it’s not just Bezos, Musk and Zuckerberg. How about Niccol, Iger, Cook, Nadella, Pichai, Su, Swan and more. It’s gross.
