I shared this with a teacher this morning and he assigned it immediately in preparation for next week's final! Students will get the spreadsheet of responses to use as they are writing their essays. I can't wait to hear how it goes. (I know it's going to be fantastic!) #EduSky

If you can, remind your principal that everyone needs coaches - even Michael Jordan had one. Teachers need supportive non-evaluative help. If you do get moved back into the classroom, at least you'll have lots of chances to try out all the strategies you worked on with teachers. #edusky #educoach

Thank you! Love this!

A teacher at my school created a lesson where students did research on the same topic in ChatGPT and Google Search, then compared results. It was eye-opening for the kids. #EduSky

Here is a collection of copyright friendly resources I curated a while back. Most of the links should still be good if not at all. #eduskychat #laterchat #digcit

I can't wait to share this with my teachers. Thank you!

One way to get them to focus on what it means is to have them create something and think of it from the creator's pov. Copyrightandcreativity.org used to have lessons about how to do that - I think they still do. #EduSkyChat

I love this idea! Sometimes we forget about hands on creation when we focus too much on tech, but some students definitely prefer it. #EduSkyChat

Anything they would write a report about can be made into a podcast. Also they can create something from the point of view of a literary character, a historical figure, a chemical element, etc. #EduSkyChat

Good points. Maybe I just need to delete the account and not worry about it.

Are you happy with the result? I have almost 10,000 tweets and the import says it will be less than $10? How is that even possible?

Bummed I had to miss this one but I'm definitely going to try to make next week. Looking forward to reading what everyone had to say so I can pretend I was there! #EduSkyChat

Sort of. The law requires AI literacy to be added to the frameworks for those content areas when they are next revised. So it will be required in the future but sadly not now.

I like @figma.com and FigJam. There is a learning curve but they have great resources and support. The free educator accounts give you access to all the premium features but you need to request them. help.figma.com/hc/en-us/art....

Bummer. I'm available Wednesday but not until 5:30 Pacific on Thursday. But things could change. I would definitely be into this.

Also thinking the same thing. I have been following lots of people, but really I should be curating thoughtfully and following/interacting with accounts that will be most beneficial & meaningful for me. Definitely don’t want to be on 24/7 because my priorities have shifted.
