What do ya know, the assigned pooling yarn actually does the thing. My floret stitch technique needs work but I’m happy with this interpretation of daffodils for my (self imposed) March yarn dyeing challenge 🧶.

I challenged myself this year to dye up a new 🧶 colorway for each month’s birth flower. I’m excited about a lot of them but March’s daffodil has me uninspired (which is weird because I love daffodils and yellow in general!). Trying out a resist dyeing/Assigned Pooling combo for my interpretation.

The Self Acceptance shawl is teaching me that the “you can’t count” memes are really, really true 🧶. #knitsky #knitting #knit

Dyed up some yak/silk yarn just for meeee - it’s like getting a warm cloud hug. So excited to knit it up. 🧶 Thinking of doing the Self Acceptance shawl by Kristina Vilimaite (ravelry.com/patterns/lib...). #knitting #knitsky

Swatching and hot tea on a single-digit-temps morning seems like a good plan. 🧶

Mischief managed. All these Green Aventurine trial iterations will be going in the mystery yarn bin for the shop 💚 🧶

Fiber folks, any recs for indie/small business online shops for knitting needles and notions? I don’t have a LYS within an hour+ drive but would love to support someone’s livelihood! 🧶 🧦 #knitting #knitsky #knit

I’ve got the idea equivalent of an earworm today - for a random variegated gemstone green ala Green Aventurine. And if I could get my “influencer” act together well enough to hit the record button I’d even have a video of the process 😅 Alas.

Holding on by the power of cute kiddy knits and maple sugaring season in our woods. (This is the baa-ble hat by Donna Smith and I 10/10 recommend for a quick whimsical knit that can be done in a weekend). ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
