Hello from a fellow dub owner (T6.1) 🤙🏼 That’s a decent trip! Switzerland is on our list when we do a big camping trip - so much stunning scenery. Likewise Wales blew me away - we’ll definitely be back! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Research showing a lack of effect is still important. ‘Null effects’ can be very valuable (rather than “not proving anything”). Taking action based on assumptions that are not currently supported by research could be potentially harmful, so this meta-analysis acts to advise caution.

It’s a meta-analysis so it pulls together the evidence that is out there in existing studies conducted across the field. The message is that decisions should not be made without a solid evidence base.

Food does look incredible 😍

And having one of these on the campervan pitch wasn’t a hardship 😉

It was so beautiful everywhere we looked 😍 Needless to say I took an obscene amount of photos! So lucky with the weather too. Our first trip to Wales, definitely not our last!

I’ve recently started exploring impacts of food insecurity. I’d also welcome any opportunities to return to some suicide and/or self harm research or to branch out into some addiction or incel research. If any of that sounds interesting please feel free to connect 😊

Yes and clinical cyberpsych of course still has its space too. Gaming is certainly a popular avenue although interestingly we don’t have any gaming research in our cyberpsychology lab! Very interesting to reflect on how the term differs across context!

Even though I personally have an interest in health, many others in the lab aren’t connected to health at all. Great discussion though 😊 #cyberpsychology

It’s a wonderfully broad discipline (I may be biased 😄). I also head a cyberpsychology research lab and none of us are doing clinical research but we’re doing such diverse topics from menopause apps, to trust in online information, chatbots/AI, misinformation, cybersecurity etc.

Joining the blue sky party 👋🏼 I wouldn’t say cyberpsychology is focused on clinical research at all. At our annual BPS Cyberpsychology conference we have a wide range of topics from gaming, social media, online peer support, education, health (generally non-clinical context), security & privacy etc.

Hello, just made the jump from the ‘other app’. I’m a cyberpsychologist specialising in digital health tech (including remote healthcare and AI in health contexts). I’d love to be added 😊

fantastic, I’ll check those out. Yes loving the starter packs, they at least help alleviate some of the dread around starting an account from scratch again 😆

😄 thank you! I tried a few apps in the early Elon days but none of them stuck. This one looks much better 👍🏼
