The most successful #podcasters treat their show as a business (or part of one) from day one, not a hobby that might eventually make money. What's your monetization strategy?

Stop waiting for the "perfect time" to launch your #podcast! The "perfect time" never comes. Your potential audience is waiting for the unique value and experience only you can provide!

Use only a GIF and your URL to describe your #podcast!

Your audience engagement doesn't stop when your #podcast episode ends. Continue conversations on social media, in email newsletters, or through dedicated community spaces where listeners can connect.

Sponsorships are nice, but they're not the only way to monetize your #podcast. Consider #affiliatemarketing, premium content, coaching/consulting, or digital products that align with your expertise or serve the fandom of your audience.

Your #podcasting puts your passion and expertise on display! Don't underestimate the knowledge you've gained along the way. Others might pay you for that knowledge and experience—whether in teaching or in a solution!

The #podcasting microphone picks up more than your words (or background noise 😅); it captures your passion, personality, and purpose. That's what turns casual listeners into loyal fans of your #podcast.

Promote your #podcast using only emoji and your URL!

When listeners take time to email you about your #podcast, they've given you a gift. Always respond personally when possible, even if it's just a quick thank you. These people are your biggest advocates.

How Long Should Your #Podcast Episode Opening Be? Answer: as short as possible! Here's a new episode of The Audacity to Podcast® that explains more and addresses some common concerns: theaudacitytopodcast...

Don't promote every social network where you and your #podcast can be found. Yes, be everywhere. But only promote where you can be _well_ and you're willing and able to regularly engage your audience. #podcasting #socialmedia

Too many #podcasters spend more time in their production, less on content and marketing, and as little money as possible. But I see more success in #podcasting when you invest money in solutions that reduce your time in production, allowing you to invest more time on content and marketing.

I'm disappointed with #podcast-hosting providers right now. Some are still missing important #Podcasting2.0 features. Some have missing or incorrectly implemented standard features. Some have more features but bad UI/UX. It looks like I'll stick with PowerPress for now, but with custom coding. 😓

The most powerful word you can say in your #podcast is "you." It helps you speak directly to your listener. Even if you have 1 million listeners, you're still talking to each of them one at a time. #podcasting

#Podcast P.R.O.F.I.T. can be: • Popularity • Relationships • Opportunities • Fun • Income • Tangibles Which are you trying to get from your #podcasting? And which are you trying to help your audience get from your podcast?

Hot take: if your #video with baked-in captions is animating each word one at a time, you're hurting the consumption experience. #podcasting #onlinevideo #TikTok #LinkedIn #Instagram

Big little update! You might have received a batch of old #podcast reviews from Podchaser. That's because we rebuilt our method for collecting reviews from Podchaser, so we've found a bunch of missing reviews _and_ we now collect episode-level reviews! podgagement.com?utm_source=b...

Hard #podcasting truth: _You_ are not a niche. No one wants to listen to your #podcast just because it's you. They want your podcast because of how they connect with your perspective, how you feed their fandom, how you inspire or educate them, and how you make _them_ feel.

Can someone using #macOSTahoe 26 please tell me whether confirmation buttons in dark mode have been fixed? #macOS has criminally put red text on gray buttons for years now.

There are countless podcasts covering the same subjects—maybe even the same as yours. So find ways to make yours unique. In other words, make your podcast _known_ for something.

I once septupled (that's 7×) my #podcast audience size literally overnight. What have you done that gave you the biggest growth in the least time?

The biggest mistake I see #podcasters make is waiting until they have a massive audience before thinking about PROFIT. Start building P.R.O.F.I.T. (popularity, relationships, opportunities, fun, income, or tangibles)™ from episode one—for both you _and_ your audience!

Well, it's happened. The wonderful Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB #podcasting mic is no more. It's no longer available at B&H, Amazon US, Sweetwater, or Adorama. Even worse, there's no sign of a replacement—at least not yet!

Create episodes that answer your audience's real questions instead of what you think they should know. Your #podcasting becomes infinitely more valuable when it solves actual problems.

Stop chasing huge download numbers and start building genuine relationships with your listeners. A small but engaged #podcast audience is worth more than a large but passive one.

The fastest way to lose your #podcast audience is to ignore them completely. Even if you can't respond to everyone, acknowledge questions and feedback in your episodes to show you're listening.

If you could wave a magical wand and change or create anything in the #podcasting industry, what would it be? Think podcasting apps, hardware, techniques, philosophies, #podcast apps, and more.

The magic happens when your #podcast listeners start talking to each other, not just to you. Foster community by highlighting listener stories, questions, and successes in your episodes.

I've had my #podcasts' #RSS feeds with Blubrry PowerPress since I started #podcasting. But I'm considering moving The Audacity to Podcast's feed to a #podcast-hosting provider to fully optimize the in-app data beyond what PowerPress lets me do. This might be my biggest tech change since starting!

Your #podcast is the perfect platform to test and validate product ideas before you create them. Listen to what your audience asks for, then build solutions they'll gladly pay for. This is what led me to build @Podgagement! bit.ly/4jY9RlU

Your #podcast doesn't need to compete with Joe Rogan; it needs to serve your specific audience better than anyone else can, and that's something only you can do.

The Audacity to Podcast® is 15 years old today! I've been teaching #podcasting and helping #podcasters for 15 years! To "celebrate," please join me for tomorrow's episode where I'll share 15 regrets from 15 years of professional podcasting. You can probably guess #1. 😅 bit.ly/45e4jjB

Your #podcast reviews aren't just for show; they're goldmines of feedback telling you exactly what's working and what needs improvement. Read every single one and take notes.

My first #podcast episode wasn't great. What do you wish you did differently with your first episode?

Your voice has the power to change someone's day, maybe even their life! That's the magic of #podcasting and why I'm so passionate about helping you share your message with the world.

Happy Father’s Day! Not all men get to be or choose to be dads. But it takes a real man to be a good dad. You are the most impactful person in your children’s lives! Never give up!

The best way to grow your #podcast isn't through fancy marketing tricks; it's by creating content so valuable that your current listeners can't help but share it with others.

#Podcasting isn't just about talking into a microphone; it's about building relationships, sharing knowledge, and creating a community around what matters to you.

Who or what inspired you to get into #podcasting?

The most profitable #podcasters aren't relying on ads alone; they're creating products and services that serve their audience's deepest needs and solve real problems.

Did you think this week's episode of The Audacity to Podcast was a one-time thing? NOPE! Next week's episode is already prepared! I'll be sharing 15 regrets from 15 years of professional #podcasting. I hope you'll listen to this week's and next week's episodes! bit.ly/43ZXYWC

If your #podcast is consistently helping your audience solve problems, you've already proven there's demand in your niche. You can gain and give P.R.O.F.I.T. (popularity, relationships, opportunities, fun, income, or tangibles)™ when you figure out how to serve that demand better than others.

Every question your #podcast audience asks you is a potential product idea. Keep track of these questions and turn your answers into courses, guides, lead magnets, additional episodes or articles, or coaching programs.
