Becoming a dad made me decide to be a stereotype and start watching Michael Mann movies. I thought Heat was ok, then one massive scene happened, and in a subtle way almost every other plot point was carried by Val Kilmer through that movie. God that guy ruled.

Stuff like this is why I can’t tell if animation is a brutal field or not. The dude that made Lower Decks and Solar Opposites had ten combined seasons of tv and is now just done? As an outsider it’s just really hard to gauge success but man I hope they’re all doing great.
