I have a handful of friends who grew up in or are in mixed households that honor both Jewish and Christian traditions and I'm so happy for the jokes they'll get to make with Passover ending on Easter today.

The Bush administration disappeared people too, sent them to a different gulag at Gitmo and other black sites, kidnapped people off the street of Milan, tortured them, in the name of "a different kind of war." We didn't come close to holding them accountable. We're seeing the cost of that now.

Any NY food people here? I'm surprising my newly lactose-intolerant wife with a day trip to NY tomorrow and am hoping to find a great slice shop near Midtown that puts out a great vegan (or lactose fres? Is someone finally making mozz treated with lactase?) plain slice because she really misses it.

LOL, at a car repair shop in Cambridge and the owner asked one of the other guys waiting if a Tesla was his and the dude acted as if a doctor just announced to the waiting room that he has herpes.

Yeah, he's definitely no resistance hero, but I'm pretty sure Chuck Schumer would agree with all the bad things in Brooks's column, and has yet to come close to saying any of the good ones. Not a defense of Brooks, just another reason to demand Schumer's resignation as a "leader" of any kind.
