I don't feel bad about breaking down and crying in the halls of a hospital, because it appears normal. Not like when I do it in the aisles of a grocery store, or picking my kid up from school, or in a fountain at the mall.

Yesterday when I was leaving work I was saying goodbye to a coworker who I won’t see until I go back in January. I was like “okay, man, have a great Christmas…” Then, for some reason, I lost my mind completely and said “see you next year.” So now I have to move out of state and change my identity. 🤡

Getting this out of the way. I’m super irritated that it took forever for my Bluesky invite, because in that time someone swiped jayofthedead, which is the name I use literally everywhere. Now I have irrational hatred for the phony jayofthedead. I hope he’s an awful person so I don’t feel as bad.
