I used to work for an org that lobbied to maintain LIHEAP (the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program). LIHEAP was part of LBJ’s Great Society program. It was reduced to a block grant under Reagan. The GOP has been trying to get rid of it for decades. Millions of the most vulnerable will suffer.

This movie is 2 hrs & I estimate about 80 mins of that is just straight, uncut, late stage John Wick-style level quality action. Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025) sits in the shadow of the far more creative Fear Street trilogy, but despite that, it's still a fun ride. Stylish, fast-paced slasher with bloody fun deaths and a killer soundtrack. Its low-key is a better Prom Night remake than Prom Night (2008), too. 😂
