I see many, many errors in Irish language translations these days e.g. books / comics / games. I love seeing side projects and folks practicing translating but it's not great to promote translations that give learners false hope. Creators should be clear that they are just for practice (cont.)

@cmatbaby.bsky.social on #joolshollandhootenanny is the exact energy we need going into 2025. No notes, flawless, icon, truly the moment.

kinda fine with games taking their sweet time to release nowadays, delays included like the older i get, the faster time goes, and the time will pass anyway I can forreals wait. I got shit to do, like my massive backlog of games clogging up my steam library

I have great news for you if you want to get better about adding alt text but struggle to remember: Bluesky has a setting where your pics won't post until the alt text has been added Go to settings > accessibility Then switch on the toggle for "require alt text before posting" That's all! 🤗

Don't forget to go to every application you use that features artificial integration and review it poorly on its page. I've done this to: - Figma - LinkedIn - Twitter - Google (though that's a bit of a titan) Public reception of artificial content needs to be very apparently negative.

I hate to be that guy, but can we please not do this? Alt text is a vital accessibility tool for many, you may do this with good intentions but nonetheless it excludes many people. This goes for all other uses of alt text that don’t purely describe the image too.
