Masking discourse is on again and I’ll just say if you see people masking when few others are it’s likely because they’ve determined that for them, in that setting, the benefit of not catching (or spreading) whatever’s going around is worth the cost of masking. It’s rarely more complicated than that

An organ recipient died from #rabies. The deceased donor wasn't recognized as a rabies case, suffering from non-traditional symptoms. In addition, 3 recipients of corneal tissue were exposed, but were treated with post-exposure prophylaxis. What a horrible situation. abcnews.go.com/Health/michi...

Preparation for #TCAlfred hammock stand secured to balcony railings & balcony otherwise empty. Bizarre bit of unglazed window in toilet taped up. Lots of water, salty food & protein bars to keep this POTSie going. Radio, torch & powerbank charged plus batteries +++ 1/2
