On a positive note, I am slowly chipping away at story in FFXI. Treasures of Aht Urhgan is still great, with the occasional "wait until the next Vana'diel Day" gate which is irksome, but not too bad. Wings of the Goddess is still a bit of a slog. I am liking the nation quests more though #FFXI

It's the nature of time that the world changes. It only stands to reason that the world isn't the same one I grew up in, and that's fine. But God I miss a time where I could speak to folks with different views and we could both walk away with mutual understanding.
