Looks like privatisation of water has been disastrous. Thames Water is in dire financial position, but bonuses and dividends get paid. This is unacceptable. TW must be brought back into public ownership, following up with review on industry, as a whole.

Good that Labour has walked back on winter heating policy and closer with EU. It's not enough, but it's a start. Overhaul tax and benefits system equitably, rejoin CM at a minimum, stop performative cruelty on immigrants. Most of all, stop going after Reform and right votes.

Looking at the responses to the UK Brexit deal, strikes me how broken we are. Client journos rush to hear what Farage, Badenoch and Johnson spew out, without any detailed understanding. Fishing is the same as the original deal, by Tories, but it's Labour's fault. We're so broken.

Labour delivers a great deal with the EU, prob best that can be made in the circumstances. I still believe strongly in rejoining the CM at least, but this is as good for now. Until we rid ourselves of idiot isolationist, the EU will continue to be wary of us.
