Two nights ago a dear friend of mine passed away and I’m honestly crushed. I lived with Mark for close to a decade and despite living with a lifelong disease he approached almost every day with warmth and humour, often punctuated by some of the most impressive farts ever. He was a true warrior.

#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld is a pretty good MCU film. It sticks fairly close to CA:TWS in terms of tone and plotting although admittedly it’s nowhere near as tightly written. Regardless, Sam Wilson really embodies the Captain America mantle without compromising his own unique character. 4/5⭐️’s

Just reached the episode of @wrestlingbios.bsky.social’s “Reliving the War” that covers the Raw tribute to #OwenHart and honestly I found myself weeping. Owen was one of my favourites back in the day and his passing was such a shock as a young wrestling fan. It still is. RIP Owen.

So I’ve been ill since early November with flu symptoms and a chest infection, but what’s really frustrating is that it hasn’t been consistent; one week I can barely stand without coughing, the next I can work just fine with minimal interruption. At this point it’s getting to be a joke!
