I don't think I've ever really had strong dysphoria. When I look in the mirror, I think "yup. That's a person" and that's about it. I guess I have mild dysphoria in the sense that this doesn't feel "right", but it's not upsetting. More like a mild curse I'm stuck with. I dunno.

Frankly I will be joyful if ten years from now my partner and I are complaining about how hard all this rebuilding is. Because at least she'll be there. I resent the work ahead, but I'll do it gladly if it means we survive and maybe even thrive.

I voted for Obama and he let me down. I can't think of a single Democrat I've actually voted -for- besides him (as opposed to voting -against- Republicans). I've played the 'lesser evil' game all my adult life. That game is done. I choose not to vote again until I see some better options.
