❀️⚽Aston Villa 2-2 Liverpool What an incredibly entertaining game at both ends! Some really exciting football played, particularly the innovation in final third possession by both teams, delivering fast paced, intricate passing to break down the block. Not once "the slow horse shoe of death" πŸ«’πŸ˜‚

(Stolen from @leaefc.bsky.social) Diogo Jota warming up for the Aston Villa game tomorrow.

Everton's new stadium looks truly amazing 🀩, what an absolutely gorgeous place to call home. youtube.com/shorts/HLul2...

Real Madrid are apparently considering "quitting" Spanish football for another league in protest at the leadership of La Liga president Javier Tebas and biased refereeing decisions. I hope they're not watching Barca V Rayo tonight 🫣🫒

Tottenham v Bournemouth, Madison goes to show he has thick skin and has got the bants .. πŸ˜‚ youtube.com/shorts/94s_0...

This Non-League striker has scored over 150 goals in the last 2 and half season! His record has caught the attention of a lot of pro clubs, so why did the goal machine reject their offers? youtu.be/mCL6TrT4Z6k?...

Mitoma's goal is definitely worth another look: youtube.com/shorts/tozag...

Arsenal get a brace from their new "makeshift" #9 Merino against Leicester City today. Meanwhile, the kid they let go last summer, has been banging in goals wherever he's gone and has just scored his first hat trick for Monaco πŸ‘€ having 8 goal involvements in 7 games. Did anyone say "goalscorer"? 🀦

Another win for Dorking Wanderers starts to solidify their position at the top of the National League South. After the first relegation in their clubs history last season, Wanderers are looking to bounce straight back to The National League.

PERSON OF THE DAY. 14 February 1996. Bob Paisley died (aged 77). He won 20 trophies as LIverpool FC manager from 1974 to 1983, but he never won the FA Cup. Paisley is one of only 4 managers to have won the European Cup 3 times and the only British-born manager to have done so.

A collective laugh at Sunderland V Luton 😁

Tonight was the 120th Merseyside derby at Goodison Park between Everton and Liverpool in all competitions. Both sides have won exactly 41 of those fixtures (D38).

Hamzad Kargbo volley for Chippenham Town yesterday πŸ‘€ #banger #thunderb

Great to see Aaron Ramsey give it back to the scummiest fans in football. Still years later Stoke City fans sang about how they broke Ramsey's leg when he was playing for Arsenal.

Plymouth Argyle 1-0 Liverpool. Liverpool top of the Premier League and the Champions League table, beaten and knocked out of the FA Cup by bottom of the Championship Plymouth Argyle πŸ† The magic of the FA Cup is still alive, god bless you Pilgrims πŸͺ„

Leyton Orient 1-0 Man City It was all a dream for a while, with what little "magic of the cup" is left:

Newcastle are heading to their second cup final in two years after beating Arsenal! ⚫βšͺ Their last major trophy? 1955 πŸ‘€. Even Spurs have won something this millennium (2008 League Cup). With Liverpool or Spurs in the final, can the Geordies finally end the drought? Good luck! πŸ†

Does anyone here play, coach or have their daughter play in the National Football Youth League? My daughter does for Chelsea and I'd be interested to hear from anyone else about (among other things) their experiences and their options past sixth form.

Jordan Henderson, Ajax & ex Liverpool, standing up to the press for what is right when people start vicious rumours. An amazing professional & an incredible retort youtu.be/tOguciarM-w?...

A fun breakdown of which managers signed which players in the current squad: Bruce: McGinn Smith: Martinez, Mings, Konsa, Bogarde, Cash, Bailey, Watkins Gerrard: OIsen, Digne, Kamara Emery: Torres, Garcia, Disasi, Maatsen, Tielemans, Onana, Barkley, Malen, Rogers, Rashford, Asensio #AVFC

Arsenal 5-1 Man City πŸ‘€ OK it's a City team in transition, but that's quite the result. Ethan Nwaneri & Myles Lewis-Skelly are incredible players. Surely they have a striker in that Academy. Maybe controversial, but for (regardless of his big miss) Kai Havertz was MOTM for me.

Man City V Arsenal a really fantastic game of football in the WSL, worth a watch if you missed it: www.youtube.com/live/gV8UKFI...

#TheTraitors *SPOILER ALERT* Bristol City Women FC win this transfer windows big reveal competition (I love this πŸ˜‚!)

All I can say is that in the vastness of Arsenal's academy, they must have another protostar from the factory that brought the first team Nwaneri and Maitland-Niles that can do a better job than Sterling!

Are there any Champions League games tonight? πŸ‘€

So what is the point of VAR? It just seems the referees are such a boys club and a law unto themselves, they need a complete overhaul or better yet a completely new setup with a new bunch of people talksport.com/football/285...

Wolves 0-1 Arsenal 1 straight red card, another red after two yellows. Michael Oliver steals the headlines. Mark Goldbridge sums the feeling up. cont ...

WSL McCabe has let Arsenal down there, they were on top of the game & even conceding a sloppy penalty you'd have thought with Chelsea getting dominated through most of the 2nd half Arsenal could come back. Now with only 10, no chance! (Foul and abusive language. I couldn't imagine it πŸ˜‚)

The EPL VAR referees are NOT for saleβ€½
