Want to tell the public what US government workers actually do, vs. the propaganda spewed by DOGE? This incredible website, "We the Builders," is asking for first-person testimonials from government workers about their actual jobs, and how they make the government work. www.wethebuilders.org

🚨BREAKING: Federal Court GRANTS sweeping nationwide injunction against Trump DEI executive orders finding that they violate First and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution. A huge victory for @democracyforward.org and its clients. A stinging loss for Trump. Visit www.democracydocket.com for details.

Friends, the NASA ROSES 2025 omnibus research announcement is now out, a week late: nspires.nasaprs.com/external/sol...

Wow. I don't think we've seen any images from an X-37B* flight before. *secretive military mini-space shuttle

The impactor is not large enough to lose a meaningful threat to the Moon, and certainly won't destroy it. We might get some debris, but our atmosphere will take care of that. With a seismic instrument on the Moon in time, we'd get some AWESOME science

Just a reminder that Germany was the center of scientific progress until the Nazis suppressed, drove away, or killed all the non-Nazi scientists.

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

OK hear me out

If it is not obvious, scientific societies need to be doing the following.

For a variety of reasons, including a big proposal deadline today, I *genuinely* forgot what day it was. (I didn't forget the *date*, to be clear. Just couldn't remember if it's Monday or Tuesday.)

I am hearing *unconfirmed* discussion that NASA was spared from today's probationary employee cuts at the 11th hour. Working to verify.

🧪 If you are a NASA employee or contractor who is interested in speaking with a journalist, please reach out. I freelance for multiple publications (Science, NYT, etc.). If you want to reach out (via a personal device on a trusted, non-work network!), I'm on Signal at mgreshko.01.

Thinking of my NASA friends across the Agency tonight.

While you were weekending here on Earth, the Perseverance rover was vandalizing Mars. As it should.
