I wrote about how I let my kids run wild in public and despite what angry people on the internet would say about it, I think it’s mostly fine www.the-pom.com/p/unpopular-...

We have a new essay from @clhubes.bsky.social dropping TONIGHT-- don't miss this one!

This week, @amycolleen.bsky.social wrote about self-judgment and giving other moms the gift of being the biggest screw-up in the room. You can read it (for free!) here: www.the-pom.com/p/an-open-le...

YAY @amycolleen.bsky.social's latest essay is so sweet and funny! Shout out to the Worst Girl at Yoga and all the other Worst Girls www.the-pom.com/p/an-open-le...

This was what I, the woman who spilled soup into every single crevice of her oven while trying to do a Multitask with toddlers, needed to read today. @amycolleen.bsky.social today at @thepom.bsky.social

I am the Worst Girl at Yoga. Sometimes, that is. Sometimes you are too. I'm explaining that concept and why I consider it a gift to other moms (and yogis) in The Pomegranate today: open.substack.com/pub/thepom/p...

I have a piece appearing on/in/at the-pom.com tomorrow morning Thank you and good night

Today our first paid essay went live. Here's a little breakdown on how that works-- and a link to @laureneahmed.bsky.social 's piece, which we think you'll love. www.the-pom.com/p/dr-screen-...

Some details about how the paywall works at the-pom.com

I have been thinking about this a lot lately, because of the reasons Lauren writes about but also in terms of Internet safety. We do our kids no favors by acting like the net is forbidden fruit & not giving them the tools to navigate it. It's like they combined DARE with a way to guilt trip moms.

I keep using the word "phenomenal" about this essay but how else to describe? @laureneahmed.bsky.social on @thepom.bsky.social with an important and just phenomenally written essay about screen time www.the-pom.com/p/dr-screen-...

Thanks for asking, Shannon! We will have two free posts available for all subscribers (and anyone who visits the-pom.com) every month, and plan to have two or more premium essays for paying subscribers each month as well. Free subscribers will receive a preview of the paid pieces in their inboxes.

I wrote about why everyone needs to chill the fuck out about screens or - more accurately - what we talk a out when we talk about screens ⬇️⬇️

Congratulations to Mer, who won a free year's access to our paywalled content!

Putting the finishing touches on my essay for @thepom.bsky.social about why we all need to chill the fuck out about screens. 👀

"If three people are talking to me at the same time, that doesn’t add up to each of them getting 33% of my attention. It somehow adds up to 0%." @kristenmulrooney.bsky.social's latest essay covers meeting individual needs while herding the bunch. www.the-pom.com/p/you-have-m...

Kristen’s essay is so good!!!!!

These week for @thepom.bsky.social I wrote about dividing my undivided attention between three kids. Subscribe today to get our weekly essays! Next week's from Lucy Huber is not to be missed www.the-pom.com/p/you-have-m...

"I love having my own place in a sibling set, but when I think back to my childhood, it’s peppered with memories in which my parents proved to me that I existed as an individual too." As the eldest of 5 who now often feels stretched thin as a mom, I loved this essay. www.the-pom.com/p/you-have-m...

Ngl, one of the loveliest things about having my first essay in @thepom.bsky.social today is seeing my friends say such kind things about what I wrote 😭

My friend @amycolleen.bsky.social wrote this beautiful piece about trying to go a little easier on herself when tiny eyes are watching. Check it out here: www.the-pom.com/p/my-tiny-co...

I am a know it all so rarely do I read an essay that stops me in my tracks and makes me think differently about my own life and kids. But this one did it - some of the best writing on rest and the toddler days I’ve ever seen. Your lunchtime read, I suggest?

This week's lovely essay on @thepom.bsky.social is by @amycolleen.bsky.social who is so wise and talented beyond her years and who I learn so much from even though I'm old enough to be her older cousin www.the-pom.com/p/my-tiny-co...

I wrote about self-doubt, new beginnings, and babies who steal hot drinks in The Pomegranate today. If you're a parent who feels constantly twinged by the regret of what you could have done better, maybe you'll like this. open.substack.com/pub/thepom/p...

What's up guys, I got this cool hoodie and it just so happens to match the logo for @thepom.bsky.social Here's hoping my writing skills are better than my photography 😊 sign up now to find out on Thursday!

"I would schedule time for grief, then reschedule it." Have you read @laureneahmed.bsky.social 's latest essay on parenting through the loss of a parent? www.the-pom.com/p/finding-a-...

It is a privilege to be in a group chat with someone who is this eloquent and insightful and hilarious ALL THE TIME. You must read @laureneahmed.bsky.social's essay on @thepom.bsky.social I demand it www.the-pom.com/p/finding-a-...

I've been waiting for weeks to share Lauren's wrenching, poignant, funny essay about parenting in and around and through grief. If you read nothing else today, read this. www.the-pom.com/p/finding-a-...

I signed up for @thepom.bsky.social newsletter because everyone involved is a funny mom and yet every time I read it I am left crying! Explain yourself @clhubes.bsky.social!

I wrote an essay about the strange impossibility of losing a parent while becoming a parent. Maybe this has been you, and maybe you want to read it. www.the-pom.com/p/finding-a-...

Have you read @sarahradz.bsky.social 's lovely essay on self-appreciation yet? This weekend is a perfect time to do so! You can access it for free here: www.the-pom.com/p/giving-up-...

I love reading @sarahradz.bsky.social s writing because it always feels like what I’m thinking, only repackaged to be perfectly spoken. I think this found me today for a reason, given the week I (we?) are all probably having as parents … www.the-pom.com/p/giving-up-...

I felt so seen by my friend Sarah's (@sarahradz.bsky.social) beautiful essay on the neverending rat race of trying your best, and I think you might too. www.the-pom.com/p/giving-up-...

Yay I'm on The Pomegranate today! Talking about how my tiny roommates sabotage all my self-improvement efforts open.substack.com/pub/thepom/p...

I love this essay by @sarahradz.bsky.social about giving up on goals. Sarah is about to be one of everyone's favorite new writers so you miiiiight want to read it www.the-pom.com/p/giving-up-...

Have you had a chance to read @kristenmulrooney.bsky.social 's first post on The Pom yet? We loved this piece on aging, wisdom, and why your dog might be bonking into things. Bonus pic of Buster!! (That's really Buster, not a stock photo.) Read it here: www.the-pom.com/p/stumbling-...

Today's essay at The Pomegranate by @kristenmulrooney.bsky.social is one I think you'll really enjoy. I too want to be Meryl Streep someday! www.the-pom.com/p/stumbling-...

Today's essay is from @kristenmulrooney.bsky.social and it's all about catching the curve balls you've seen before. Plus, Buster! The most good boy! Read it here: www.the-pom.com/p/stumbling-...

My first essay for @thepom.bsky.social is up! This month I talk about how, a decade into marriage and motherhood, I'm suddenly... smart? Plus a picture of Buster's beautiful mug www.the-pom.com/p/stumbling-...

This resonates with me so, so very much. I laughed so hard at “he could never fully consume the amount of Train his brain wanted and that made a small part of him burn with rage.” And the sudden disappearance of those things is why I always weep at things like Inside Out. And lots of other things.

So actually what comes next is ME. My first essay is running tomorrow and I'm so excited The Pomegranate is publishing my work even though my friends and I invented The Pom with our bare hands, does that make sense?

The Pomegranate launched last week with an inaugural essay from @clhubes.bsky.social. Enjoy her poignant piece and then subscribe so you don't miss what comes next! www.the-pom.com/p/trains-and...

Happy launch day to The Pomegranate! Follow us at @thepom.bsky.social and head to the-pom.com to read our first installment by the fabulous Lucy Huber.
