So the cops are lying openly about the fact that they did not investigate the whereabouts of Sam Nordquist, who was being tortured to death by five collaborators, with several known witnesses, in a motel. Secrets like that get out. Small towns are rumor mills. Seems like cops should know.

maybe I don’t need to tell anyone in the games world but tolerance of ‘uncertainty’/‘ambiguity’ in a story, or ‘not understanding’ a story is at an all time low with audiences. besides erosion of critical reading by fascism it is because fascism has obliterated people’s comfort levels and attention

I think speaking academic-ese is a fun character to play & can help with the creative work of thinking outside the box, concision, getting your point across the way you want it to, etc. but I think the error is when you start identifying AS that character & presuming that that's just who you are.

like, quite frankly, the majority of the problems & prejudice I face on a daily basis has more in common with both cis and trans womens' issues than it does the average trans man. but, even still, I think trans men's issues are far more similar to all of those than anyone gives credit for.
