Name a cartoon you liked

I posted these on Threads and some middle aged guy asked me out and made a weird comment about me wearing this. Like homie. 😭

midnight sons update:

Seriously, it's just groceries and bills at this point, but it'd be nice to have protein and to NOT wind up with scurvy.

I don't trust men who say they see themselves in Tony Stark. They only want to relate to the superficial parts of him. They don't relate to his arc where had to learn from his mistakes and be a better person. They don't even embody his more human flaws. They just wanna get money and chicks.

How did this man convince people he's the real life Tony Stark? He has no charisma, he's not smart, he's not charming, he can't talk to women, he has a breeding fetish, and his technology doesn't work. Literally the only similarity between him and Tony Stark is that they're white.

Democrats should change their logo from a donkey to this

I'm gonna get a green one in the future for when Avengers: Doomsday comes out. 2026 baby!

The outfit I was going to wear to see Captain America: Brave New World arrived today. Better late than never I guess.

Me after seeing Mad Max: Fury Road for the first time.

In light of recent posts, I wanted to share this passage from Kemp Powers' screenplay of One Night in Miami. This exchange between Malcolm X and Jim Brown paints the experience of any person who has had to FIGHT for a sliver of the floor, especially Black people. Hopefully you learn something.

Rewatching One Night in Miami (one of my favorite movies of the 2020's) and if the rumors are true that Marvel and Ryan Coogler plan to age-up T'Challa II via multiverse shenanigans I hope Aldis Hodge is the guy. This man has SCREEN PRESENCE! He shouldn't be wasted on shit like Black Adam.

Trans women of color are not angels. We never claim to be. We can fuck up, be mean, and make mistakes like everyone else. I can acknowledge when one of us steps out of line. But to expect me to not hear a fellow twoc out just a little bit, I think that's an unreasonable thing to ask of me.

Nia DaCosta is one of my favorite directors working today. I'm happy The Marvels being paid dust didn't hurt her career. Looking forward to everything she's working on next. Lowkey holding out hope that Kevin Feige asks her if she wants to direct X-Men.

Last night, a friend of mine(a Black trans woman) said that true sisterhood will not exist until we of a "darker shade" are given equal chances to feel happiness and hurt. She mentioned that until white sisters' initial reactions to the word racism isn't an eyeroll, true sisterhood is a myth.

Before anyone tries to drag me back into discourse against my will: You are allowed to change your mind when more shit comes out. You can acknowledge the toxicity of multiple people. You can feel sympathy for multiple people and call racism for what it is at the same time.

What's really funny to me is that people in film circles gave the Russo Brothers shit for being journeymen directors. But when a handful of comic book movies that have come out after their initial MCU run ranged from mid to bad, people miss them. Not bad for "boring journeymen" huh?
