It’s still Black History Month.

Another deep breath for your brain. 💜

If your brain needs a deep breath like my brain needed a deep breath:

Make art. Constantly. Please and thank you.

One of my favorite passages. Encapsulates my attitude from 15 years working in theater.

Prominent Bay Area lawyer skewers Mark Zuckerberg, fires Meta as a client "The Stanford professor said he refuses to be associated with Zuckerberg and Meta, given the company's new content and workplace policies." #TechSky

Kaine: "Should committing a sexual assault be disqualifying to be secretary of defense? Not a hard question. Should spousal abuse be disqualifying? Not a hard question. Should drunkenness on the job be disqualifying? Not a hard question. He wouldn't answer any of them."

When I say I’m shocked, you understand the depth of my sarcasm.

One of many isolating elements of chronic illness and disability is that difficulty with using most devices and/or periodic absences from social media make maintaining an online community really hard. Although anyone who’s seen my tiktok knows for sure I’m not a bot. 😅

“For my efforts doing my duty as a Capitol Police sergeant, I was beaten and struck by raging rioters until I was covered in my own blood... I thought I was going to die and never make it home to see my wife and young son.” www.nytimes.com/2025/01/05/o...

Jimmy Carter was right about climate change. He was right about the Mideast conflict and apartheid in Israel and South Africa and the ongoing plagues of poverty and racism. It was he not Reagan who freed our hostages in Iran. A true man of God, he died beloved, which not many presidents do or will.

“Well done, my good and faithful servant”… are the first words that came to my mind when hearing of the passing of President Carter. He & his bride committed their lives to service in the most selfless way. Let us all honor his legacy by doing our part to serve our country & our community.

No company has a perfect record but keep seeking out retailers who will actively push back in the face of this kind of pressure. So many companies are folding or worse, jumping at the chance to be rid of vital policies.

162 years ago, 38 Dakota men were hung in the largest mass execution in our nation’s history. The sacrifice of these riders reminds us to recommit to accountability and healing for the Dakota people. www.mprnews.org/story/2024/1...

Staring us right in the face every single day.

Me either.
