On this day 35 years ago we played our 1st gig, supporting Squarepusher's band (they wouldn't let us borrow their amps). No photos survive, so here's the handpainted bootleg of our 6-minute set. Thanks to @jonathangibbs.bsky.social for putting us on!

We ❤️ 'zines & loved the thoughtful but heartfelt writing in issue #1 of "In The April Sun". Issue #2 has a stellar cast - supernovae like Assistant, Lovejoy, Hazelene, Goodbye Wudaokou, Shopfires, Mt. Misery... do buy it. We're also v excited as it's the 1st fanzine since 1990 to feature: us! 🌈
